AMA Jr. Camp is an online, virtual camp experience, developed and presented by the Academy of Model Aeronautics. It is designed to be a fun, preparatory course for youth ages 5-12 to learn model aviation fundamentals that will help to prepare them for future, more advanced aeromodeling opportunities

Introducing the AMA Alpha! The Alpha is a rubber-powered airplane that provides amazing flight duration, controlled flight, and can easily be disassembled and taken home to fly again.

This is a resource for our education outreach volunteers, as well as any model aviation educator or club that is seeking guidance. Here you will find ideas, activities, and suggestions on how to introduce model aviation activities in the classroom, at home, or out on the flying field!

Spreading the love and fun of aeromodeling is vital to its survival. That is why the AMA would like to recognize Youth members who do just this.
