Interested in learning about flying?

Enter the exciting world of aviation in this hands-on adventure using real aircraft while unraveling the wonder and mystery of flight. You'll learn about airport operations, instruments in a cockpit, aerodynamics, airport operations, cockpit communication and pre-flight an actual airplane. All of this and more in a day-long program at an airport near you. Upon completion of the program, Boy Scouts will satisfy all of the requirements for their Aviation merit badge and Girl Scouts will be able to use the “Make Your Own Badge” guidelines to create and design their own badge. All participants receive a Youth Aviation Adventure patch which is approved for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to wear on their uniforms. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18 and fascinated by airplanes and flying, then this adventure is for you! (Note: Any registered Boy Scout may also attend, even if not yet 12 years old). Youth Aviation Adventure is currently held in 21 cities across the country from Alaska to Florida and many places between. The list grows every year, so if you can’t find a program near you now, check back frequently! https://youthaviationadventure.org
