AMA Junior Camp V3 Project 1

Arrowhead Instructions:

1. Fold the paper in half, then unfold.
2. Fold the top inch of the paper down.
3. Turn the paper over.
4. Fold the top corners in to the center to form a point.
5. Fold the top section down on the indicated line.
6. Fold the point of the triangle back to the top.
7. Turn the paper over.
8. Fold the top corners in to the center to form a point again.
9. Unfold.
10. Fold the outer edges in to land on the creases made in step 8.
11. Fold in on the creases made in step 8.
12. Turn the paper over.
13. Stand the top flap up and rotate the plane to match the illustration in step 14.
14. Pick up the plane and tuck the nose into the pocket as shown.
15. Lay the plane back on the table to match the illustration in step 15.
16. Mountain fold the plane in half on the existing crease.
17. Fold the wing to land on the left edge of the plane.
18. Turn the plane over.
19. Fold the second wing to match the first.
20. Open the wings.
21. Your Arrowhead is now ready for flight!

Voyager Instructions:

1. Fold the paper in half, then unfold.
2. Fold so that the top right corner lands on the center crease, with a new crease going through the top left corner.
3. Unfold.
4. Fold so that the top left corner lands on the center crease, with a new crease going through the top right corner.
5. Unfold.
6. Using highlighted portions of each crease, perform a rabbit ear fold to match step 7 (refer to glossary for rabbit ear fold).
7. Stand vertically and squash fold as shown in step 8.
8. Turn over and repeat steps 9 through 12 for both sides, ensuring symmetry.
9. Fold prongs down along indicated lines so they run along the edge of the top layer (step 15).
10. Unfold prongs (step 16a).
11. Insert prongs into pocket, curling them and using crease from step 15 to lay flat within pocket (step 16b).
12. Your Voyager is now complete!
